Cookie Policy

About Cookies

Real Deal Pro, Inc. ("Real Deal Pro," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies to operate our platform, keep you signed in, and remember your preferences.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, your choices regarding cookies, and further information about cookies.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.

Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, Real Deal Pro, Inc.) are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called "third-party cookies."

Types of Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services.

  • • Authentication cookies: Used to identify you when you sign in
  • • Session cookies: Used to maintain your session state
  • • Security cookies: Used to detect authentication abuses
  • • UI state cookies: Used to remember your interface preferences (e.g., sidebar state)

Functional Cookies

These cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalization. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages.

  • • Preference cookies: Used to remember your settings and preferences
  • • Language cookies: Used to remember your language preferences
  • • Feature cookies: Used to enable certain features you have requested

Analytics Cookies

Today the only analytics cookies are Google Analytics’ _ga and _ga_<ID> (up to 2 years). They let us measure how our website and application are used, in aggregate; they are not used for advertising or cross-context behavioral profiling (Google signals and ad personalization are switched off).

  • • In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (and when your browser’s time zone cannot be read or is a generic zone such as UTC), they are set only after you choose “Accept All” in the cookie banner.
  • • Everywhere else, including the United States, they are set when you first view a page, and a notice at the bottom of the page says so. Choose “Turn off analytics” in that notice to stop them.

We decide which applies from your device’s time-zone setting only. You can change your choice at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the page footer. Withdrawing (“Essential Only” or “Turn off analytics”) stops Google Analytics, deletes the Google Analytics cookies we can reach and prevents further analytics cookies from being set in that browser. A Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal keeps them off everywhere, and they are never set on the private links we email (signing, payment, invitation and similar links).

Cookieless Measurement and Local Storage

Measurement that uses no cookies

Some of our measurement uses no cookies and reads nothing from your device. When you load a public page (the home page, an article, or a free tool), your browser sends us the page name, what happened on it (for example loaded, used, printed or copied, clicked through), the referring site’s host name, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. We keep only daily totals and never an identifier — no IP address, no user-agent, no cookie, no account. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, the cookie banner does not apply to it. The Privacy Policy (“Website Measurement and Server Logs”) describes it in full.

Do-not-count flag

If you prefer that your browser not be counted at all, open https://real-deal-pro.com/?rdp_internal=1 once. This stores a single local flag named rdp_internal; our counters skip that browser and Google Analytics does not load in it. Our own team’s browsers carry the same flag.

Local storage (not cookies)

Your browser’s local storage is a small store that a website can write to and read back on later visits. Unlike a cookie, it is never sent to a server automatically. The public site writes the following entries:

NamePurposeDurationType
cookie_consentYour cookie-banner choice — “Accept All”, analytics off, or that you have seen the analytics notice (also stored as the cookie of the same name)Until clearedEssential
rdp_first_touch, rdp_last_touchThe campaign tags, ad click identifiers, referring page and landing page from the first and the most recent link that brought you here, kept so that a later signup or call request can be attributed to that campaign. Written only when the link carries campaign tags or a click identifier; not sent anywhere until you create an account or request a callUntil clearedFunctional
cookie_notice_versionWhich version of the cookie banner or notice your choice was given to (a date, followed by “:kept” after “Keep my choice”), so a changed banner is shown to you once and an “Accept All” counts for advertising measurement only when it was given to the text that describes itUntil clearedEssential
rdp_brokerage_intentRemembers that you arrived from the brokerage site’s Apply link; cleared once usedUntil used or clearedFunctional
rdp-iowa-contract-to-close-checklist-v1Your checkbox state on the free checklist tool; stays on your deviceUntil clearedFunctional
rdp_policy_noticeRemembers that you closed the notice about a policy update, so it is not shown againUntil clearedFunctional
rdp_ad_measurement_optoutRemembers that you chose “Opt out of ad measurement” on our Do Not Sell or Share page, so a call request or signup from this browser is never reported to an ad platform. It holds one yes/no value and no identifier.Until clearedFunctional
rdp_ad_optout_sentRemembers that this browser has already told our server to stop advertising measurement for an account signed in here (after you opted out in this browser, or because it sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal), so it is not sent again. It holds a short code of 8 characters worked out from each such account (at most 20), not the account identifier or email address.Until clearedFunctional
rdp_internalThe do-not-count flag described aboveUntil clearedFunctional

Once you are signed in, the application also keeps working state in your browser’s storage (for example unfinished onboarding answers, your current workspace, and interface preferences). That state is needed to run the application and is Essential; Firebase Authentication keeps your sign-in session there as well (see the cookie table above).

Your Cookie Choices

You have several options for controlling or limiting how we and our partners use cookies:

Cookie Consent Banner

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (and when your browser’s time zone cannot be read or is a generic zone such as UTC), a banner on your first visit lets you choose “Accept All” (allows Google Analytics) or “Essential Only”. Closing the banner counts as “Essential Only”.

Everywhere else, a notice on your first visit tells you that we use Google Analytics and lets you choose “Turn off analytics” or “OK”. Google Analytics is already on while the notice is showing; “OK” only closes the notice, and “Turn off analytics” stops it and keeps it off in that browser. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, Google Analytics stays off and the notice does not appear.

The same choice controls advertising measurement, which sets no cookie: when someone who clicked one of our ads requests a call, creates an account, becomes an active user or makes a first payment, we may tell that ad platform, sending the ad’s click identifier, a hashed email address, the details of the step and, for a first payment, its amount (the full list is in our Privacy Policy, under “Advertising Measurement”). Outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, “Turn off analytics” also turns it off. Inside those regions it happens only after an “Accept All” given to the current version of the banner, which describes it.

When we change what the banner or the notice says, we show it once more to anyone whose stored choice was “Accept All” or “OK” given to an earlier version (a choice to turn analytics off stays as it is). If you had chosen “Accept All”, it offers “Keep my choice”: that keeps your earlier choice, so Google Analytics stays on, and records only that you have seen the new text. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, “Keep my choice” does not turn on advertising measurement; only “Accept All” given to the current text does.

Your choice is remembered for 365 days. Change it at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the page footer, which reopens the banner or the notice (after you have turned analytics off, it offers “Keep analytics off” or “Turn analytics on”).

Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences. However, if you limit the ability of websites to set cookies, you may worsen your overall user experience, as some features may not function properly. Blocking cookies or the googletagmanager.com / google-analytics.com domains in your browser or a content blocker also stops Google Analytics.

Essential Cookies

Please note that essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are necessary for the basic functioning of the website. If you disable essential cookies, you may not be able to use certain features of our platform.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We do not sell personal information. We treat either signal as a request not to load analytics cookies: if your browser sends GPC or DNT, Google Analytics does not load, in any region, whatever you chose in the cookie banner or notice.

From October 12, 2026, either signal also opts you out of advertising measurement: a call request or signup made from a browser that sends GPC or DNT is never reported to an ad platform. We check the signal in your browser and again on our server when the request arrives. If you are signed in to your account in that browser, it also tells our server to stop advertising measurement for your account.
