A Wise Agent alternative, compared job by job
Every statement about Wise Agent on this page is a quotation from Wise Agent’s own website, with the date we read it. Everything else is about our software.
Published September 25, 2026
Most agents arrive at this comparison from one of two directions. Either you have a contact database you are happy with and the transaction side is being held together by email, or you are running deals somewhere and your follow-up has quietly become a spreadsheet. The two products below start at opposite ends of that problem, so the question is less which is better than which end you are standing at.
Real Deal Pro wrote this page, which is a reason to check it rather than to trust it. So here is the method, stated up front and checkable line by line. Nothing on this page characterises the other product. Each of the ten jobs below opens with the job itself, then shows whatever Wise Agent publishes about it — as a quotation, from a URL on their own site, with the date we loaded it — then what our software does, in a block of its own. Where they publish a priced card we quote every line of it, including the lines that do not suit us. Two of the ten are sections where their quotations cover ground our block does not answer one for one; the wrap-up names both.

1. Staying in front of people who are not in a deal yet
Ask an agent how many people are in their database and the answer is a number. Ask which twelve of them are worth a call this week and the answer is a pause. That gap is the job: turning a list into a short, ranked, current set of people to contact, and keeping it current when you have not looked at it for a fortnight.
It is a job with no deadline attached, which is why it loses every week to the deal that has one. Whatever system you pick has to survive being ignored for two weeks and still tell you who to call on the Monday you come back to it.

- Clients sit in a tiered list — Hot prospects, Warm leads, Nurture, Long-term — in the same workspace as the deals, so the person and the transaction are one record rather than two that have to be kept in step.
- Bring your existing book in by CSV.
- Turn a client into a deal from the client record, without re-entering their details.
- The Free plan holds up to 100 clients alongside its 3 active deals, so you can move a real book of business in before paying anything.

2. Running the deal from accepted offer to close
Once an offer is accepted the work becomes a sequence: order the inspection, clear the objection, confirm the appraisal, get the loan commitment, schedule the walk-through. The question you actually ask on a Monday is "what needs me this week", across every live file at once.

- Deals sit on a seven-stage board from Pre-Contract through closing, and dragging a card moves the deal — the stage is the deal’s state, not a label applied on top of it.
- Tasks hang off the deal’s current stage, so the list in front of you is the one that applies right now rather than a hundred-line master checklist you scroll past.

3. Keeping the dates straight when one of them moves
Deals do not miss deadlines on the deadline. They miss them three weeks earlier, when a closing slides by four days and nobody re-counts the six dates measured from it. The job is arithmetic the software should be doing: one date moves, and everything derived from it moves with it.
Some of those dates are set by the contract and some by federal regulation, and the second kind do not care that you were busy. A system where dates are typed rather than derived is a system where a slipped closing leaves stale dates behind it, each of which looks authoritative.

In Real Deal Pro
- Deal dates and task deadlines appear on the same calendar as your showings, in your own time zone rather than the server’s.
- Tasks can be scheduled relative to a deal’s listing, acceptance or closing date, and moving one of those anchors moves the tasks hanging off it rather than leaving them on the old date.

4. Filling in the forms without typing the same facts again
A file is a dozen documents that mostly say the same twenty facts. The job is not "store the forms" — storage is easy and every product does it. The job is filling them: putting the buyer’s legal name, the parcel address, the price and the dates onto each form that asks for them, without a human being the mechanism that copies them across.
Typing beats the address on the disclosure against the address on the contract, and nobody finds the difference until a reviewer does. The failure is not slowness; it is two documents in one file that disagree, both signed.
What Wise Agent’s own pages say
“Quickly import listings and link them to your transactions without manual entry.”
— wiseagent.com/features/transaction-management.asp, read September 25, 2026
“Unlimited Document Storage”
— wiseagent.com/pricing.asp, read September 25, 2026
“Wise Agent integrates with popular real estate tools, email platforms, marketing software, and productivity apps, making it easy to connect your entire tech stack.”
— wiseagent.com/partners.asp, read September 25, 2026
In Real Deal Pro
- Map a template once — drag each field onto the form — and every future deal fills that form in from the deal record.
- Your state’s forms work anywhere; nothing about the mapping is tied to one state.
- The mapped library belongs to the workspace rather than to whoever built it, so a second person fills the same form the same way without being told how.
- Generating a contract from a mapped template is included on the Free plan.
5. Getting signatures back onto the file
Signing has two halves and they are usually solved by different software. Getting the signature is one: an email, a link, somebody on a phone in a car park. Getting the signed copy back into the right file, with the evidence of who signed it attached, is the other — and it is the half that decides whether the file is complete six months later when someone asks.
The second half is where the handoffs live. A signing product hands you a finished PDF; something still has to decide which deal it belongs to, and that something is usually a person moving an attachment out of an inbox.
What Wise Agent’s own pages say
“Send, sign, and track contracts through DocuSign without leaving Wise Agent.”
— wiseagent.com/partners.asp, read September 25, 2026
In Real Deal Pro
- Signing is part of the deal rather than a separate subscription: you send from the document already attached to the deal.
- The executed copy lands back on that deal, and each signature carries the time it was made.
- Recipients sign from an emailed link with no account to create, and the record keeps each signer’s timestamp and the address the link was opened from.
- Sending for signature is included on the Free plan — it is not gated behind an upgrade.

6. Billing a fee and actually getting paid
Not every dollar an agent is owed arrives as a commission off a settlement statement. A coordination fee billed to another agent, a photography package rebilled to a seller, a fee owed by a referring agent in another state — each of those is an invoice somebody has to raise, send, and then chase.
Reporting on money you have earned and collecting money you are owed are different jobs, and software that does the first well does not necessarily do the second at all. This section is about the second: an invoice a payer can settle by card, and a status that changes on its own when they do.
In Real Deal Pro
- Invoices are raised against a deal and sent as a link the client opens and pays without creating an account.
- Paid status updates itself when the card payment settles, so there is nothing to reconcile by hand at month end.
7. Seeing what the closed deals were worth
At some point the question stops being "what needs me this week" and becomes "what did this year actually pay". That is a reporting question: production by period, by source, and — on a team — by person.
What Wise Agent’s own pages say
“See your commissions with clear graphs and charts for a quick understanding of your performance.”

“Get an in-depth breakdown of past, pending, and upcoming transactions to plan ahead effectively.”

“Link your commission data directly to contacts, checklists, and transactions for full context and alignment with your sales targets.”

In Real Deal Pro
- Deal value, listing date, acceptance date and closing date are fields on the deal itself, so they are the same values the documents and the task deadlines read from.
- A full data export is available from Account settings on every plan, including Free; the convenience CSV exports of deals and accounting are a paid feature.
8. What happens when a second person joins
The moment somebody else touches a deal, two questions arrive together: what is this going to cost per head, and who is allowed to do what. They pull in opposite directions — the cheapest arrangement is usually a shared login, and a shared login is the thing that makes "who did this" unanswerable.

9. Giving each person their own login
A shared login is cheap and it is the reason nobody can say who did what. Sooner or later somebody needs to be stopped from seeing a file, or a change needs to be traced to a person, and both of those need the software to know which human is typing.

- A seat is a person: every member is invited by email and signs in as themselves, and the paid tiers are counted and billed in seats.
- What somebody may do is a property of their role rather than of the account they signed in with — a Transaction Coordinator runs every deal, task and document and still cannot touch billing or ownership.
10. Handing the finished file to somebody outside your workspace
Two different outsiders need to see inside a file, and they want opposite things. A client wants the short version, continuously, in language that reassures: where are we, what is left. A reviewer wants the whole thing, once, and the first question they ask is not "what happened" but "is anything missing".

- A closing binder assembles the deal into one link with a cover sheet and a completeness check, so a reviewer sees what is present and what is outstanding before opening anything.
- The link is read-only, expires, and needs no account on the receiving end — the person reviewing your file does not have to become a user of your software.
Also included in Real Deal Pro
Four things that do not belong to any one of the ten jobs. They are here because they are in the product, and for no other reason — nothing in this list is a statement about anybody else’s software.
- One deal record feeding the client list, the pipeline, documents, tasks, calendar and invoices — one login, one bill, no per-deal fees.
- A reusable template library scoped to the workspace, so a team fills the same form the same way every time.
- A Free tier for individual accounts that is a live product plan rather than a countdown, with 3 active deals and 100 clients.
- Your data leaves as a download whenever you want it, on every plan.

Wrapping up
Two sections are worth reading against each other rather than taking our word for. Section 1 quotes four things Wise Agent publishes about working a database — campaigns, landing pages, lead credits — and the block beside it does not answer them one for one. Section 7 does the same with commission reporting. If either of those is the reason you are shopping, read the quotations there and then read their pages; this page is not where that comparison finishes.
What Real Deal Pro is built around is the file itself: the forms fill from the deal record, the signature comes back to the deal, the invoice references it, and the binder hands the whole thing to a broker as one expiring link. If the transaction side is already handled and what you are shopping for is the database and the marketing around it, that is a legitimate thing to be shopping for, and it is not what this product is organised around.
On price, do the arithmetic rather than take a summary of it. Sections 8 and 9 quote their CRM plan card and both add-on cards whole, as those cards render, with the date; our own figures are interpolated from our pricing page and sit beside them. Then multiply for your own head count, because the two are not priced on the same shape — read what their quoted plan card says it covers, put our per-seat figure next to it, and the answer for a team of five is not the answer for one person. Nobody can do that sum for you, and a page written by one of the two parties is the wrong place to be told the result.
If you would rather try the file-centred version before deciding anything, every account starts on a 14-day trial of the full software with no card, and an individual account lands on the Free plan afterwards — 3 active deals, 100 clients, no expiry. A team account picks a paid plan when the trial ends, because a team has no single-seat free landing.
Next step
This page compares two billing shapes; the ladder shows each tier’s own figure and what it includes, with the Team tier priced per seat, so you can price your own head count.
